Do I have something on my face?

First of all, I JUST announced my BRAND SPANKING NEW "Not Your Average" Sponsorship Program. Check er out, you won't be disappointed. On to cuter things...

So this happened last week:

Bean learned how to play with her food, oh joy.

Pay no attention to the weird hodge podge of food on her tray. She was teething, and not eating well, so we had to just throw all kinds of food at her hoping one would taste good.

Pickles, mashed potatoes, and cheese it is.

And without further ado, I introduce Jessinia from Sea Glass and Ribbons (how's that for a seamless transition?)

Hello lovely readers of Peacoats and Plaid! I'm a neighbor of BreAnna, also living in Minnesota. I'm an art major and armature photographer. To give you a little taste of this lovely state, I thought I'd share cold, I mean cool, pictures :)

So right outside the Mall of America, we have an ice castle. They start building the castle with one icicle and than fuse more and more together. It used 4 million gallons of water! It's then lit up by multi-colored lights inside the ice. It looks amazing, take a look:

Doesn't it look unreal?

So many pretty colors!
And this is me gazing at the ice.
And yes, my butt was freezing-can't you tell?

I hope you enjoyed looking at these pictures and didn't get too cold. Hop on over to my blog where I share more of my pictures and also some great DIY projects. Thanks to BreAnna for having me on her blog today.

  1. That castle is absolutely stunning! I've never seen anything like it

  2. Your little one is adorable! I read this article once that said that if adults had to go through teething, they would get morphine because the pain is so terrible. Glad I don't remember how much teething sucks.

  3. I want an ice castle ... that would be bad ass!

And it is SO much fun when the youngins figure out how to play with food.

Reagan just learned to open the refrigerator by herself! God help us ALL!

  4. Again Brynn is too cute for words. And judging from my stats today, I am not a fan of the cold or snow, lol!! But seriously awesome advertising packages you set up and may need to take a better look at it real soon!! :)

  5. And the sad thing is, I never made it down to see it myself! Seeing Jessinia's photos made me regret it totally.
